We’re Sean and Elyssa - a design-obsessed couple who took a chance on a shared passion and built Hivequarter Co. to shake up the event world. We specialize in photo booths, live laser engraving, and custom decor, all crafted to elevate your event beyond the usual.
Our Story
We met in an architecture class over a decade ago and quickly figured out our chemistry makes a solid (and very fun) team. Sean brings the creative muscle as a graphic designer, photographer, and videographer. Elyssa is the former event planner and current strategist who keeps the details tight and the plans flawless. Since 2019, we’ve been combining our skills to craft events that actually stand out. When we’re not working, you’ll find us chasing down the next adventure, whether it’s a quick road trip with film cameras in hand, fangirling over iconic architecture and cars, or checking another must-try restaurant off our list.
Why We Do This
Because nobody deserves another cookie-cutter event where guests are bored and hosts are stressed. We believe events should be the kind of fun that gets talked about for months—not the kind that gets forgotten by Tuesday. Honestly? We're addicted to those "wow, I've never seen anything like this before" moments and the five-star reviews that follow. There's nothing quite like watching someone's face light up when they see our setups, or getting that text from a client saying their guests are still talking about it weeks later. That's the good stuff that keeps us going.
What Makes Us Different
The event industry has a creativity problem, and we refuse to be just another photo booth company. While everyone else is churning out the same standard photo strips, we're creating fridge magnets that actually make it home and live laser engraving that turns any moment into a permanent keepsake—right there, in real time. Custom trading cards are launching soon because we're always developing the next big thing to keep our services fresh and exciting. Prefer to keep things traditional? No problem. Our photo strips just happen to be designed by people who know what they're doing. We want to be your event team for life, which means constantly innovating so we can offer you something new and amazing every single time you book us. Where We Work
Rancho Cucamonga is home base, but we're road trip enthusiasts who'll happily pack up our gear for anywhere Southern California calls, from intimate weddings in Claremont to large-scale brand activations in downtown LA or Palm Springs. Wherever your event is, we’ll bring the same energy.
