When Cupix gathered construction industry professionals for a night of networking and innovation at CUCINA Enoteca in Newport Beach, they wanted something special—something that would elevate the experience beyond the usual handshakes and business cards. Setting Up for Live Laser Engraving
Bringing onsite laser engraving into a restaurant setting takes a bit of creativity and a lot of attention to detail. We set up our xTool F1 laser right on a bartop area, adapting our usual six-foot table setup to fit the space seamlessly. The compact station became an instant conversation hub, drawing guests in to watch the engraving process up close.
To keep things clean and comfortable, we brought along our professional air filtration system (because no one wants to mix laser fumes with appetizers). Guests could place their order, grab a drink, and come back later to pick up their custom-engraved Yeti—no waiting, no lines, just smooth flow all night long.
And yes, we captured it all on video—from setup to engraving to that final moment when the freshly etched design was revealed. There’s something undeniably satisfying about seeing a laser in action.
